Not going to commit .po files to CVS anymore. Please make them available on localize.drupal.org. Eventually we will never be handling translation files in CVS or the issue queues.

The existing Russian PO translation file contains an error with the plural form. All users write about this error. See at: http://www.drupal.ru/node/37361
Please, replace the Russian translation files or remove them ...

+1 to commit! Current russian translations are broken!

@Dave, current cvs versions holds russian po-files but with wrong plural formula, so this is a bug! which breaks whole site when translation auto-imported!

LDO does not have russian group because alll russians work on drupaler.ru

Sorry, but localize.drupal.org is the future. At some point the Russian translators need to start supporting the community instead of doing their own thing. I'm just going to remove everything from the translations directory. Eventually there will no longer be any .pot or .po files in CVS and they will be auto-packaged with the release system and localize.drupal.org.

So please leave this issue open til translations exist because it's serious bug - wrong plural formula

Committed the changes to 5.x-1.x and 6.x-1.x and removed all .po and .pot from 6.x-2.x.
