Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/sitestha/public_html/you4ia6/sites/all/modules/messaging/messaging.module on line 711

When I run cron I get the above error. When I inactivate the notifications module the error goes away, even when I have the messaging module turned on. I am using the Mime Mail module also. The error happens when only the core notifications module is activated, and also when other sub-modules are activated.

I upgraded from 5.x, could it be a problem with the upgrade? Problem with configuration?

I also tried installing the Nov 22 dev release and it did not help.

Playing around with this some more, I cleared the queue and ran test sends, using admin/messaging/subscriptions/queue and the debug send mode (using the devel module messaging debug sub-module) and got the same results.
