I just ran into Firebug-lite and wanted it in my drupal installs. I found this module right away and was stoked. Do to the small amount of code required and the total lack of open issues I was wondering why it is still in development.

Another question: I noticed the js file is local. Will this module be updated everytime the js file at getfirebug.com is updated?

Thanks.

So you mean that this project worked for you without any major issue? If so, I'm happy to release it as beta.

About the js file, I'm including it because is a working copy, new versions should be fixed to work with new release of this project.

Thanks for responding.

I was about to install and try this module when I ran into the fact that I could just add a bookmarklet (available at getfirebug.com) to my browser(s) to get the firebug_lite functionality on all sites with no extra code or modules.

The idea behind this module is to server firebug_lite in browsers not called "Mozilla", may your try again in IE, Opera or Safari?
