I have to do a simple modification in a exisiting Drupal website and I can't figure what is wrong.
All I need is to add a recipient to the contact form. Problem: I cannot edit the "contact" page neither can I see in the menu "Administer --> Site Building --> Contact form". The contact module is installed on this website but there is no way for me to edit the contact page.
This is driving me nuts. Please help! If you have any idea why a contact form cannot be edited and does not appear in the menu, you'll save me a heart attack. I didn't build that website but I am responsible for it now!
I am connected with the 1st admin, so no problem with that. I use Drupal 6.9.
Thank you

general advice
1. try rebuilding the permissions cache ... (admin/content/node-settings)
2. try turning it off and back on again ... disable then re-enable the Contact ... (module admin/build/modules)
3. try updating Drupal to 6.14 ... see if it "blows the cobwebs away".
I don't know what's causing your problems, but that's where I'd start blindly stumbling about for a solution. Good luck.
Editing Contact Form
That happened to me too. I was using a non-standard theme and had several recipent email addresses which stretched the edit link off the viewable area. I changed the Administration theme to Garland (Under Site Administration). Then when I went to the contact form, the edit link was viewable and I was able to make my changes.
did u check the check box in site building-->modules-->contact?
U need to check the check box in site building-->modules-->core optional --> contact to see that item in Site building.
I had the same problem and once i did this it worked for me. hope i am not giving u a silly idea... :)
