With blocks I can put views on the Left & right sidebar, Content, Header & footer. I want my Blocks to be with each story. So if my main page has 10 blogs, I want each of the 10 blogs to have a block instead of only 1 block showing up at the bottom of the page.

you can use panel in this case to restructure the main page. add the blog content and the block next to each other.
