Direction of this project

There are different ways to slice up a page; as such one may want some content to be ESI, others to be AJAX, and still others to be in the HTML Ideally you would allow one to select what blocks/regions get AJAX & what get ESI or what passes through to the HTML.

Another project was a good effort but its an all or none approach.

Allowing the admin to pick what goes where is key to the success of this project. Building a pluggable frame work where one can use ESI and/or AJAX would be very nice.
