Somehow it validated after some time of leaving the thing by itself. However after giving all the permissions during logging in, it eventually says "operation failed" in the login block for some reason.

Hi Krishna,

Sometimes there's a short delay between the time of registration and the actual time the data ( private key in this case ) is distributed to all our servers.
That may explain the fact that it eventually validated.

Do you still get the "operation failed" message ?
If so, please check your recent log entries ( YOUR_DR_SITE/admin/reports/dblog ) and send us more info (if exists there ...) and also send us a link to your site.

Have a gr8 day,

Gigya.

Hi Gigya,

I am experiencing the same issue - could you maybe let me know what time period you would say is normal (it's been about 20 minutes since I signed up) and when I have to start worrying?

Furthermore, for now I only would like to use Gigya to authenticate, no posting of stories or anything. I would like to not display the windows asking for permission to post status updates etc.- I have already deactivated everything in the "Share with a friend settings" but still get these dialogs. Any way I can completely switch them off?

Thanks,
Jonas

Hi Gigya, thanks for the reply. I'm not a very advanced drupal user, so I'm not sure what you're looking for from my log entries.

I am getting a message in log in block saying "Network error, please try again later." On Firefox it seems to work alright but on Safari, I can't login with Google, nor Yahoo, facebook one time yes, the other time no. The share with friends option works in Firefox, but in Safari it keeps giving the error: Network error, please try again later.

Could you please instruct me what to do? The website is www.thekirtanmovement.com. I am still building it, so it is offline most of the time, but if you need me to, I can leave it online.

Kind regards and thanks for the support, Krishna Bosch

Seems like we're living through exactly the same problems Krischna... :-)

The no private key problem seems to really just have been a timing issue but about 50% of the time I now have the same "network error, please try later on" issue. Now, with the claimed unique audience reach I find it hard to believe that the service really is so unstable so I would assume there is a different problem here. Could you please enlighten us Gigya?

Thanks,
Jonas

The sharing option still doesn't work in Safari. It seems to work in IE and FF. Also when you choose share with friends the cancel button doesn't work in any of the browsers I've tried.

After updating still the same issues.

I found another thing, when signing in through Facebook, when I look up my friends under the my account>my friends tab, and I click on one, I am not forwarded to their facebook page, it says access denied. Is that supposed to be like that? It would be useful if one was forwarded to the FB page of the friend, or something like that.

Like others have said too, this module has really great potential I like it very much!

Thanks for the kind support too.

Hi Krishna,

We will take a look at the three bugs that you mentioned in your last two posts, and will try to fix them asap.
Thanks for taking the time to detail your issues with the Sharing component of the module.

Hi Krishna,

Clicking on friend's names under the my account>my friends tab should now redirect to the user's page on Drupal.

Thanks,
The Gigya Team

I'm receiving the same problem. I'm going on nearly 5 hours, and my API keys have not validated yet. Do I just need to sleep on it? Or is it my server time screwing things up? I think my server is on PST time and I'm CST time in Oklahoma. Will that cause a problem with it?
