Hopefully this is a pretty easy on for you guys. I am managing to add images to my content using external urls using IMCE. I am also managing to upload images to the /public_html/sites/default/files/images directory.

In IMCE - What url should I be using to reach images in my own images directory?? Please use www.mysite.co.uk for example purposes.

I feel so dense in having to ask, but I have tried lots of variations and keep getting te broken link icon instead of my images.

Feel free to scorn my amateurishness!

Just kept it simple and created an images folder on my sites root directory and linked to that. Easy when you relax!
