Email address Not Showing Up On User Profile Info

For some reason, on the user edit profile page, the user's email address is not showing up in the email field. It shows up for admin, but no one else. As a result, user's can't upload images, because an error shows up saying "E-mail address field is required."

And if I try to manually type in the email address, it says it is already taken.
