Dear Druplers,
1. I want to invite you to visit my new Drupal website: http://www.timesherpa.com
2. I want to thank you all - I am not a programmer but still I was able to build the website I wanted by relying on the wonderful modules and the wonderful people with the good will that shared and posted workarounds and bug solutions that allowed me to easily solve problems and misunderstandings.
I just couldn't do it with out you.
Thank you all!!!

That's nice to hear, thanks
That's nice to hear, thanks for sharing.
I mean it!
I found myself many times digging in the forums and the issues finding great instructions and good will.

Yeah really-- thanks for sharing your positive experience-- it gets really old when you hear nothing but complaints (naysayers always tend to speak the most and the loudest). It's nice to be reminded every once and while that there are happy users out there. ;-)
Thanks again!
I am sure that there are a lot more...
Not everyone is a developer. Some of us need the shortcuts provided by others.

That's totally understood-- and why some of us spend time in the forums trying to help non-developers out.
But trust me, I spend a lot of time in the forums each week, and for every post like this there are probably 1000 like "you people suck, drupal sucks, why doesn't drupal do x (bizarre) thing that 'everyone' wants, how come no one ever answers my (too lazy to search for myself) post, omg i posted over an hour ago bump' etc.
Really makes one question why they bother with the forums at all-- so yes, your post is a very welcome change.
Thanks again, ;-)
Really nice website :)
Really nice website :)
Thanks - it ggod to hear
Thank you, i am happy that you liked it.
if you dont mind....what
if you dont mind....what modules did you use?? especially curious in the "move" posting and display/respond/follow options.
Modules I used
I used for:
Follow - Flag
Respond - Node Hierarchy
Display of the Move2Move section - Quick Tabs and of course Views
That's all for moves. if you want to be more specific I can tell you.
i take it the actual move
i take it the actual move form is a custom made template? love the layout.
did you use maxlength module for the characters left?
Yes, it is custom made
Move form - I created: page-node-add-move.tpl.php and played with the CSS.
Characters left - I used maxlength module.
