I have installed this module and aspell as well, the path for aspell is
/usr/bin/aspell and it works from the shell command line, however, when I put this path in the admin section of the spellcheck module, it says that Drupal can not locate the path.

Any suggestions to get this to work?

The new code uses Pspell rather than Aspell through the command line. This issue is now obsolete.
