It would be really useful if the shortened URL could be added to the page header following the published documentation:
* http://sites.google.com/a/snaplog.com/wiki/short_url

Should this maybe be handled via integration with Nodewords?

I do like the approach for Short URL auto-discovery is a simple way to link a long URL with a short URL. The following code should be placed in the section of the HTML page.

<link rel="shorturl" href="http://short.com/1234" />

Would be curious if anyone is using this approach.
