I have nice menus working as well as I can set them up using a horizontal format at the top of the theme. But there is a bug that I consistently get and am not able to figure out what's wrong. I am including a couple of images showing the horizontal menus on the right, which is correct, and on the left with no css styling. I do have the styling provided with the module in my theme style.css. Actually it is referenced in layout.css which is referenced in style.css.

Now the only time I get the switch is when I am viewing an image. Why? I have no idea. Maybe the bug is in the image.module? I hope I can get this resolved because the menu that goes to the left actually goes past the edge as can be seen from the attached png's.

Here's my info:

drupal final release 4.7
both nice_menus.module,v 1.3.2.4 2006/03/30
and nice_menus.module,v 1.9 2006/03/30
image.module,v 1.196 2006/04/20

BTW, I tested this out on the mac Safari, Firefox, & Flock. And on Windows IE and Firefox.

Couldn't attach but one file at a time. So here's the bad horizontal nice menus shooting off the page to the left...

What part of the CSS did you change to make your menu appear on the top? I am trying to get the menu show as a horizontal menu.
Thanks.
