The attached patch is just a quicky that adds support to use your own Short URL service to Tweetie on the iPhone/iPod Touch. More information about that at http://developer.atebits.com/tweetie-iphone/custom-shortening/

Simply point Tweetie to http://[www.yoursite.com/path/to/drupal]/shorturl?url=%@ and it should work.
Untested with Tweetie so far, but the url does provide the correct output.

Probably needs work.
Also intend to add support for different output styles for different services.

Requires #647508: Code cleanup

Cheers,
Deciphered.
