I cam across the issue last night when one of my users reported to me that under safari for mac the "teaser break" button was greyed and non-functionning.
After further investigation and logging with an identical accound on various browers I can report the following :
- the button works fine under FireFox Windows, IE6 and IE7 (and I suppose IE8).
- The button DOES NOT work under Google Chrome (don't ask me what version I am not sure even google knows) and Safari for windows, and as reported by my user for Mac.
It seems a similar issue was reported one year ago and fixed at the time, but I don't know if it is indeed related.
and maybe this issue is somehow related too http://drupal.org/node/474908
Or is it a duplicate of issue http://drupal.org/node/497654 (seems to)
Please tell me what I can do to help narrow the problem.
Thanks a lot for your time and dedication to the community.

twodYes, it is indeed a duplicate of #497654: Drupal plugin buttons disabled in WebKit based browsers but thanks for reporting and confirming in which browser this issue exists.
The first issue is about the button throwing errors when clicked, but in this case the button isn't active at all.
