I'm looking at using this module just as a way of giving orders another number, not as a payment method.
Am I right in thinking you have only PO number per order? Is there a way of associating a PO number with each product purchased within a single order?

I suspect not, because it's a PURCHASE order, and the products combine into a single purchase.

Can you elaborate on why you want to "give orders another number"? Do you mean to say you want to give each order item another number? Is this a user supplied reference or something?

If all you want is to add a new reference to the order, then you probably don't want this, because this is implemented as a payment method. And you will presumably be wanting the $$.
