This is not actually an issue. It is meant more for documentation than anything else.

This module has changed maintainers and in the process the 1.x branch became unmaintained. You can upgrade to the 2.x branch seamlessly, so that is the branch that will be maintained from this point forward. Ezra (the new maintainer) is planning to release an alpha for the 2.x branch in the near future. For now I am using the 2.x branch and it is working fine.

Good to know.
Also going to be using 2.x branch. Will report if anything goes bad (losing old and active discounts, etc...).
