Just a quick mention that the latest URL Redirects module does not allow itself to be added to the tabs. This is probably something with that module but thought it was worth an issue to bring attention to it.

Posted in the other issue:
We need can't show that fieldset for new nodes yet because we do not yet know its nid and cannot list redirects that point to it. The next version of vertical_tabs is going to enable tabs by default for all fieldsets (see #644790: Simplify the module and integrate with form_controller to allow customizations), so it will address this problem.

Marking this as a duplicate of the linked issue (644790).

Yes, you can't control this, like some other fieldsets in beta 5 since it's not included if the node is new. There's nothing to be fixed or adjusted.

Ahh, no.. I was wrong. It is fixed with path_redirect dev.
