That sentence should likely be altered so users who are trying to find advanced search can stop chasing their tails : )

VM CreditAttribution: VM commentedThat link can stay. However, users who've installed drupal and aren't aware that d.o doesn't use the core search feature look for the advanced search feature mentioned at the top of the forum expecting it to be there because it is part of their install.

The fact the search page is the advanced search page, or the normal search page should not make any difference for the user. The sentence should be changed to avoid confusion.
