When an image gallery is rendered, the module hardcodes the height of each gallery to be the height of the image displayed. This breaks horribly if you actually put in a lengthy gallery description. There's no reason to hardcode it anyways.

I just commented out the offending property on line 258 of image_gallery.module:
$content .= '<li>'; // style="height : '.$height .'px">';

I do agree.

the height make a mess in Firefox e Seamonkey.

I've removed the height attributes from that line,
[
image_gallery.module:259
$content .= '

  • ';
    ]

    which now is working as a charm.

    strangely - as read at http://drupal.org/node/25054 - this issue is 1 year and more old.

    Maybe is time to fix it?

    Correcting my previous post,
    my better solution looks to be:

    image_gallery.module:259
    $content .= '

  • ';

    image_gallery.css
    ul.galleries li {
    .....
    min-height:200px;
    ....
    }

    where 200 could be something like (thumbnail size*1.1sh)

    maybe that's the reason why the author set preferes set height in php code, to eventualy dinamically change it

    who knows....
