Acquia is looking for an exceptional visual designer to work in their Woburn MA headquarters (contract to perm).
Acquia is changing the face of social site building and transforming the way sites are themed. We're looking for an exceptional visual designer to work on a contract to perm basis.
You know who you are. You're passionate about great design. You may not have a ton of experience behind your belt, but you can deliver multiple unique draft designs that meet business goals within a couple of days. You know the difference between experience and usability. You know how to take direction, but challenge ideas that are going in the wrong direction. You're comfortable collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to make sure your ideas meet business goals and can be built.

Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience designing user interfaces, workflows and various other creative assets.
* Strong graphic design & typography skills.
* Experience designing for theme based CMS packages.
* Experience with Fireworks.
* Online portfolio demonstrating all of the above.
* Based in our Woburn, MA office, close to major highways and commuter rail.
Desirable:
* Drupal theming experience.
* Experience with user centered design principles
.
* Experience with HTML, CSS and Jquery skills.
* Experience with Flash & actionscript.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
