4.7.

I'm using Amember to handle my subscription site. It comes with a login block. Problem is should an anonymous person find mysite.com/user they will be able to signup for an account.

Granted they won't have access to anything but the issue on my end would be when I look at my list of users in Drupal it could be 100 pages long because all these "freebie" people signed up just to see if they could access anything. Then once I got to my Amember site it would show me the actual number of users.

The only reason I think it wouldn't be a good idea is if Amember goes down there's a chance I might not be able to access my Drupal site since I don't have a login "page" anymore.

Anyone have this problem already? any advice?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

If you go to http://example.com/?q=admin/settings/user you can stop users from being able to create new accounts themselves. I'm not sure if this will affect the Amember module as I don't know anything about it, but I wouldn't have thought it would cause an issue.

I'm just beginning to look into aMember.

Were you able to resolve your issue?
