Please help: TinyMCE Node Picker does not display in Internet Explorer

I have the button enabled in the settings.
It works with Mozilla Firefox
I have tried versions 1.4, 1.5 and the 2.0 beta
The beta version breaks both browsers

I revert back to 1.4 or 1.5 and can use it in Firefox.

very frustrating, All I am trying to accomplish is an easy way for my end users to insert content links. This works like a charm in firefox

Some sites are not yet compliant with the new technology in IE8, so compatibility mode was included in IE8 to allow you to emulate IE7 or IE 6 to view the page. . You could also make sure that the site is listed under your 'Trusted Sites' if you have secure browsing enabled. Here is a link to show you how to run IE8 in compatibility mode:
