Hi

Thanks alot for this module. I've been waiting for dimdim integration ages ago and you just made my day today. Anyway, I understand that it's only for SAAS Hosted only. My question is is it possible to integrate with Dimdim Opensource version which will be hosted on my own server?

Thanks
Hein Naing

It integrates via the SaaS API, which I assume this API is available in the opensource version? if it is then you just need to set the url:port and username/password information. There may be some features that are not relavant in the opensource version (e.g. recordings)

Hi Univate,

Thanks alot for very quick response. Is there anyway I can find out what features are only available in Opensource version? 'Cause as I understood, there are some features missing in the opensource version comparing against the enterprise version. I did google quite alot but still couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

Hein, That information should be on the dimdim web site. Have you tried their forums?

Yeah, this is really a question you need to ask on the dimdim support or their forums.

Hi!
Looking for some help with my Drupal + DimDim integration. (stand alone all on my server)
Drupal is running fine on my port 80.

I downloaded the Drupal DimDim module and installed.
I downloaded the open source version of DimDim and installed on my computer along with the dependant OpenOffice 2.3.

My settings in the Drupal DimDim module:

Location of DimDim server = http://localhost (not sure if this is what it wants)
Port that DimDim uses: = 8005 (not sure if this is the out-of-box port assignment)
DimDim username = ? (do I need this? ....if so,where to assign?)
DimDim password = ? (do I need this? ....if so,where to assign?)
DimDim return URL = http://mywebsite.blogsite.org

Ports I have opened up for DimDim on my computer:
8080 (not sure if DimDim needs this port)
8005
8443
8009

Is there an ADMIN console to DimDim? ...how do I access it?
How do I change port seetings in DimDim?

Any set-up help would be of great help!

Thanks

Rick L.

These are all dimdim specific question which would be best asking the dimdim people either on their forum or the open source forum on sourceforge.

I am just using the hosted version of dimdim, which just needs your dimdim username/password and the module just works.
