When you have, for example, nodewords aplied to nodes and to users. It reports duplicate Description / Keywords mixing node and user with same id.
You should filter queries to the DB to match only node types.

Thanks for the info. I didn't remember that you could add meta tags to users... perhaps that is new?

Yes, I suppose so. You can add meta tags to display on user's page.
It acts as on any other node.
