avpadernoAre you sure you don't have multiple copies of Nodewords?
sjaakter commentedI have the same problem. I've tried uninstall and install but it still asks for an upgrade. Keeps telling 1.2 is installed.
I've installed version 6.x-1.3.

Marbot commentedSame problem with my page. Nodewords, Nodewords - basic meta tags, Nodewords - extra meta tags and Nodewords - site verification meta tags are at version 6.x-1.3 after update. However Basic meta tags, Extra meta tags and Site verification remain at version 6.x-1.2. I think this is causing the problem even though I am sure that these modules were updated too. Cheers Marbot
Add: I just realised that the first four modules are grouped as "Meta Tags" and the latter three are grouped as "Nodewords". I presume, It should be the opposite way around.
avpadernoYou didn't delete the previously copied files. When you upload new versions, you should always delete the old files; the last three modules you listed come from the previous version.
matteoraggi commentedYou are right! Deleting the folder first of upload then it is ok, coul you please advice about it on frontpage of nodewords module? Because it can haelp many people in update. It is not common for other modules to need to delete files first, and generally they advise first about it.
avpadernoI have always said to first remove the old files, before to update a module; the reason of doing so is that the application used to copy the files could leave the old version of some files, and that can create a problem. This problem doesn't exist with Mac OS X Finder, as it first deletes the old files, when it is instructed to replace the files.
I will add a warning on the project page, and on the page seen when you create a new issue report.
Marbot commentedOops, you are right, it is always better to delete the old files before updating. Shame on me. Cheers Marbot PS I think you may close this issue since this is sorted out now.
