Hello I am a Drupal noob. I am wondering if there is an easy way to create a horizontal menu. Kinda like on this Drupal.org site where you have those tabs along the top... but I would like to have a horizontal menu on the bottom, not like tabs but just text.

Check out the Nice menus module. It allows you to display your menu in a horizontal format and even include dropdown items.
