Search in nodes by author [#650038]

Is there a way to search in nodes created by a specific author?
I need to do replacements in nodes written by the editor only.

Hi Max,

Sorry, there's not currently a way to do search-and-replaces in nodes by a specific author. I'm changing this issue's status to feature request so that it's on the list for consideration in a future release. If anyone is interested in submitting a patch for this, I'd be happy to consider it.
