I did have a user account before the Bakery sync, but remember whether this was it. Would it be possible to check whether the email addresses match and remove uid 886 if so?

I can help. Profile with UID 886 doesn't connect to your ADO record nor does it connect to a Drupal.org profile. So I'll delete it and UID 879 is correct.
