This module is a "bridge" between the independent OAI harvester module and the rest of XC. Its purpose is, that it implements the oaiharvester's hooks, and calls XC functions and hooks to process the OAI-PMH harvested records, translate it to XC structure (metadata schemas), and finally store them in the Drupal and/or Solr storage.
