How to split content across 5-10 sections with a single node

I want to create a CCK node that will let me split content across 5-10 sections with a single image on each page (on the left) and some content (on the right).

Is there any way to accomplish this?

I anticipate needing 10 image fields and 10 content fields. Would that be right? How do I split them across ten cross-linked sections? If I use separate nodes for each and have one image and one text field, is there any convenient way to cross link them?
