Unless I am not understanding this correctly, this great module seems to be only usable for shipping deliveries? Why limit order-date-time settings to just shipping? I can see many uses for it: for example, time-based bookings, appointments, arrival/departure times, numerous financial uses, etc.

this is coded to deal with ubercart and its checkout / delivery logic.

there are several other modules that covers several of the situations you mention.

try searching "booking" in the modules search box.
