This is just some glue wrapped around other modules. When the other modules have Drupal 7 versions it should be trivial to create a Drupal 7 version of this one, but nothing can be done until then.

Bumping the issue... fields in core is done, Views is nearing stability, and other modules are close in pursuit:

CCK is in core, as well as filefield, imagefield, ImageAPI (all that we need), and ImageCache.

You all propably knew this, but you can already achieve this functionality with views, eva, references, nodereference_url, ctools. The process is quite similar as in Lullabots tutorial. Everything seems to work nicely. I mean at least the basic structure.

Mine is up and runnig ! If anybody want to see what it looks like, msg me and I give you the link.

It's very similar to views gallery and it's fully customize with custom pager, eva, views, etc. etc.

@sw3b - It would be nice to keep 'views_gallery' on the same project page. Please work with the maintainer of this module to get a 7.x branch released :)

@geerlingguy To be honnest it's just bunch of module glued together so it should not be a problem for the maintener to update the module. The first question was, is it possible to make it, and yes it is !

The other big problem was a lot of modules was not yet ready for D7. Some are and some have change. A lot in DEV state but at least it's working. I let know the maintener if he need help !

I told sw3b that I'd be glad to incorporate a D7 version using his code. I haven't had time to review it myself, it would be great if others could try it out and comment about any changes that seem useful/necessary.
