Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.We have a huge D6/D7 migration page for module developers and one for theme developers, but the idea of those pages is "how do I take an existing module/theme and update it".
But there's so much more.
We need to have a way to tell developers about all the new features in D7 that didn't even have analogs in D6.
For example, Themers can now use the drupal_alter() functions like theme_page_alter. I just added this into the theme update page, but it doesn't even necessarily belong there.
We need a comprehensive list of new features and how to use them. For example: Now you have fields. Now you have AJAX commands. Lots of things didn't exist before. We should at least have a comprehensive list. It probably deserves a complete new page. There are so many little things (and big things).

leehunter commentedSince this has been open for over two years with no activity, I'm going to marked this as "fixed".
My reasoning is that much of this content has probably been added in the interim. If it hasn't, perhaps there can be a new issue(s) noting specific gaps.
