When logged into my site as an admin, I get the links to view/edit my content. I also get the output from the administration menu module (across the top) along with the devel module output. When I go to the about us page, the system seems to forget that I am an administrator and all my administrator and developer tools disappear. If I go back to the home page, they are still missing. If I go to the /user node, all the menus and links reappear. They will remain available even when I go to the home page. But, if I revisit any other page (i.e. about us), then it all disappears again. This did not normally happen and I am not certain what has changed that would have caused this to happen.

Any suggestions?

The default navigation block also goes missing at the same time. This block is currently placed in the first sidebar region.

Sounds like an issue with the Administration module. I've seen this before with other sites where the top black bar disappears and then reappears randomly. Try using a different theme and see if the issue is still there. Also try updating the Administration module just in case.

you can fix it with drush, by this command:

drush cc all
