I've seen posts noting this bug in earlier versions; it reoccurs in this -dev version. 6.x-1.2 works fine. In both cases, though, User profile template fails to appear on the Panels dashboard page, which I'd say is unexpected behavior.

Summary: don't use the current -dev version with APK; use recommended 6.x-1.2 release instead.

The dashboard only shows 10 pages. It's possible that if you have more than 10, any particular one may not show up on the panels dashboard page. That page isn't really a good administrative page, it is more of an overview of what Panels offers which leads you to the right place. The 'pages' administration page is where you really want to go to administer pages, which is what APK uses.

Thanks for the tip on the display, merlinofchaos - that's good to know. The more important point here is that the current -dev version won't work with APK - although the "official" release is working like a champ! (I guess that's why it's the recommended version, eh?)
