I'm not sure if this is an issue with Features or Strongarm. I tested overriding a variable to see what would happen. Sure enough, that variable (pathauto_node_staff_pattern) shows as overridden on Strongarm's reporting page. However, when I look at the feature that uses these Strong arm variables, it still reports that everything is running as defaults. The screen shots tell the story.

yhahn commentedI'm having trouble reproducing this bug (whenever I override a strongarm'd variable I'm also seeing the correct state + diff in features). In this example, what is the default value of

todd nienkerk commentedThis is probably related to this Strongarm issue I filed: #677200: Some variables are overridden by default when using Features
This only appears to happen with a small handful of variables. (Specifically, in both our cases, the default Pathauto replacement pattern). I suspect this has something to do with Strongarm not properly setting the variable (and knowing it) while Features thinks everything is hunky-dory.
