I've used Views (6.x-2.8) to create a block that displays a list of categories (ed_classifieds terms). In Views, the Argument used is Taxonomy: Term with Title having a value of '%1 Term'. This successfully creates a list of categories in the block with a number beside each to indicate how many ads there are in that category. The category has a link however instead of the link connecting to a list of ads for that category, it connects to the site's home page.

milesgillham commented@clarenza: Can you post in an Export of that view so that I'm exactly clear on how you've done it? I'm pretty sure you're doing it right but want to rule out Views as a variable. If if a fix on ed_classified Views support is required I think that should be pretty straight forward.
Cheers,
Miles

fgmView does not import on current Views 6.3, and based on the View source, the content type has been heavily customized: this is not on a stock installation, so changing to support request.
Since there hasn't been any more discussion in 18 months, assuming fixed. If you want to reopen it, please include an export based on Classified Ads 6.3 and Views 6.3 on a non-modified installation.
