leehunter commentedI moved the toolbar content from the getting started page.
arianek commentedshould we add screenshots to this one as well when it's ready?
leehunter commentedSure. One screenshoot would do it.
arianek commentedk, reopening for screenshot
Comment #7
mariagwyn commentedI made a screenshot, but can't edit the page to add the image (or am too obtuse to figure it out). I can certainly host the image on an external site, but it makes more sense that it would be hosted on drupal, yes?
I am happy to modify the screenshot if you want something different.

arianek commentedOnly docs admins can embed images. ;) It would be fantastic if you can shrink it to about 630px width, and then I can upload and embed it on the page (we do try to keep the images all hosted on Drupal.org, and you did it exactly right by attaching the file to the issue). Thanks!
mariagwyn commentedshrunked. shrunken. shrank. shrinked.
arianek commentedthanks! embedded the image, and revised the text a bunch more to make it clearer. (because i embedded the image, it's now set to docs input format which means, only docs admins can edit, so pls comment here with any changes needed).
marking needs review, cause i think this one looks done!
mlncn commentedLooks good! These notes don't have to hold up an RTBC:
- Note that the minimal install does not enable Toolbar module?
- Home link always there whether we are on admin pages or not, not sure if making that precise is worth an awkward rewording of "Exit the administration pages and return to the home page."
- Might be worth noting that the Shortcut module extends the Toolbar to provide the shortcut bar, so the latter can be disabled by disabling Shortcut module.
- We probably should note that modules, and Views module first among equals, can put their configuration under Structure.
- Should the image attachment stay listed or only embedded?
brunodboYep, looking good. One thingy:
In the list with all the Administration links, the 'Dashboard' link is mentioned, but there's no such link in the screenshot above.
arianek commentedhooah, thanks ben and bruno!
ben - yes to all of that, i will roll those notes in later on.
bruno - you are right. the "dashboard" link actually shows in the "management" sidebar block in the bartik theme. there is (oddly) no dashboard link (ie. to go straight to /admin) from the toolbar (which is kind of... too bad?) i think i'll just have to try and modify the text to note where the dashboard link is, or to type in /admin, unless you've got any other ideas!
arianek commentedupdate-ified! marking this fixed unless anyone finds anything else! thanks all!
arianek commentedturns out "dashboard" link disappearance is a bug - trying to sort out what's going on then will update the page again

http://drupal.org/node/596010
also, screenshots will need to be redone after the patch to add it back is ready.
mariagwyn commentedpost when patched. I can redo the screenshot.
arianek commentedthey closed the associated issues in the last week or so, just updated the screenshot, done as far as i'm concerned, 2 reviews then mark fixed please. :)
mlncn commentedI say ready to go now, but i also modified the paragraph on operating without the Toolbar module to reflect the fixes in #652122: Fix dashboard as the default /admin local task (/admin is the admin pages directly), capitalized Toolbar module, and removed the link to the Bartik project page (which just says Bartik is in core).
So another review?
arianek commentedBenQA++ those all look good to me, pandering for one more review...
zzolo commentedLooks great! I changed the structure around a bit to be closer to the documentation that comes with D7.
Since this is handbook page, it does not need to be committed. Just resolved?
arianek commentedYour changes look good, thanks for the work. :) Indeed, we can just mark as fixed now. FIXED!
