I've installed lightbox2 to work with my acidfree albums. One things that I know will be confusing to my users is that when they go to an album and then click on a image, the previous/next links only go as as the images displayed on that page.

Is it possible to make lightbox aware of all the images in the album and not stop at the pager boundaries?

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same problem. It would be very nice to view the entire album without having to click off and change pages
