I know that an issue is not for this kind of things, but I sent you an email a few weeks ago using the contact form of drupal and I'm afraid that you (maintainer of this module) don't received it.

We area working in a new concept of areas for Views 3. This issue #510284: Header/footer/empty text and more areas pluggable provide a patch to get more of one Header, Footer and Empty text for a view.

We want to add and [edit] link to every area to allows users edit this, maybe without access to views administration.

So, if you can join to the discussion and make some comments about this, I'll be very grateful.

The 6.x version is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
