I installed the statistics module successfully and it's logging hits/page counts but I can't seem to have the counter shown on pages. The last time I installed the module on 5.x, it had one ... The permission view post access counter not shown is checked for all roles from the start. I verified /admin/reports/settings options and enabled both Enable access log and Count content views early on. Then I followed all the links on /admin/help/statistics but found no option to turn the page counter on then I had a look at the blocks but found nothing related to that.
Will you please help me to turn page counters on ?
Thanks

dave reidOn your admin/user/permissions page give your desired user roles the 'view post access counter' permission.

dynv commentedAll the roles has
view post access counteravailable so I've looked at the blocks for one that would display the page counts to no avail. I'd be glad to made you a role with the necessary permissions on the website that has the problem which is my homepage : http://dynv.qc.to/Comment #3

dave reidI think this is a duplicate of #679562: Links in $links not showing where we're still trying to figure out what's causing it.

Mohamed Farag commentedok. I got it
The problem happens with this scenario:
- Enable Statistics module in the Admin - > Site building -> Modules: Core-Optional
admin/build/modules
- Enable count content views in : admin/reports/settings
- check permissions, and you found all roles have it enabled by default
It seems that it just: 'takes few minutes' until it shows up.
So:
Wait few minutes and try,
it should be working now
