I am using both your great module and http://drupal.org/project/nodeformcols
in the previous version (beta5) I could choose which groups were handled by vertical tabs, so I had some handled by your module and the rest where displayed by node form columns.
In this latest version however all groups are automatically handled by vertical tabs and I could find no way to set them up (configuration page somewhere?), hence breaking the whole layout of my content type's form.
So I will have to revert to beta5 for the time being.

Any help is much appreciated.

actually this seems to have nothing to do with Node form columns at all. It is best explained in http://drupal.org/node/653898, so I am marking this issue as duplicate.
