I have set a sound to be played when a message is received in a non-current conversation but when I receive such a message, no sound is played.

Upon receiving the module code, it does not seem that there is any provision for handling this case even though it is included as an option in the settings page.

Is this functionality supposed to exist?

Are sounds playing for any of the other events? I know that there are some users who have not been able to get the sound working. I'm hoping that I can include some other techniques so that it will work on all configurations, but I'm not sure at this point how I will do that.
