I was growing tired of having to press submit each time I changed theme so I added an onchange form submit. This seems like the cleanest way since there is no JS file added by the module.

Great patch! The only thing I'd change is that if you are doing it manually like I did, you should erase the last line as well. If you don't, it'll keep rendering the "Submit" button.
