Hi,
I get the following error when using the DAV module with PHP 5.3.1:

Parameter 3 to dav_dav_put() expected to be a reference, value given in /drupalsites/all/modules/dav/dav.inc on line 599.

I have fixed it by the attached patch, untested with PHP 5.2. Please review and confirm that it works.
