Release notes

This is the initial Fortune module release for Drupal 6.

  • Installs fortune files in /sites/yoursite/files/fortunes
  • Includes a configurable block to display a random fortune from selected files
  • Go to the admin/settings/fortune page to upload and manage fortune files
  • Includes code to create fortune index files
  • Evenly random - won't repeat fortunes from shorter files more often
  • Standard set of fortunes included
  • Supports FTP drop installation of fortunes
