In 6.x-1.7, even though on the Meta tags settings/Meta tags to show on edit forms some of the checkboxes are unchecked, when editing a node, all of the Meta tags are visible to the user.

Title: Meta tags to show on edit forms checkboxes not working » "Meta tags to show on edit forms" checkboxes not working

I noticed, that in 6.x-1.5 it was OK.

Are you sure that the user doesn't have administration permissions?
As stated in the settings page, users with administration permissions are still able to edit a meta tag even if it is not selected in this list.

there are several roles in several websites and i am sure that they do not have administration permissions. he editor role just has the permissions
- edit meta tag DESCRIPTION
- edit meta tag KEYWORDS

administer meta tags is disabled

after clearing the cache and rebuiding the permissions the role is still able to edit all meta tags (abstract, Canonical URL, copyright, ...)

In the meta tags settings below "Meta tags to show on edit forms" just the meta tags description and keywords are enabled

The same below "Meta tags to output in HTML"

Carsten Müller: I tested the code of the latest development snapshot (which will be available at 12:00 AM UTC), and I don't have the problem you reported. Users who have not the permissions administer nodes, administer users, administer taxonomy, or administer meta tags (the permission depends from the page where the meta tags form fields are be placed) are able to edit only the meta tags for which they have permission to edit.
