I'm having some issues with a site that has really slow page load times only when editing, the rest of the time performance isn't too bad. I use Fckeditor but this site is really slow when editing, yet other sites I use that editor work fine.

Any suggestions on what to check?

With performance issues there's many areas to check/troubleshoot. Are you on a shared server or dedicated? Are you using page caching on your site?

What version of Drupal?

Many variables and factors affect performance/page load times.

FCKeditor 5x-2.2
Javascript aggregated & minified with JSMin
Normal page caching
CSS aggregated & compressed
Shared hosting
