I have a termpath

Home » Quality Sytems » Quality Management » Witness / examination audit

Note "Witness / examination audit"

This creates a directory structure:
/sites/default/files/publications/Witness%20/%20examination%20audit/Intro_BioInfo_sept09.pdf

If i try and navigate here with File-zilla I see:

-Sites
---Default
------files
----------publications
--------------Witness

sites/default/files/publications/Witness: No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

I have pathauto 6.x-1.2 installed.

I'm hoping this is a config problem on my part... Hope someone can help!

Paul

Hi Paul,

Sounds like a valid issue, I will have a look at it and see if I can reproduce/fix.

Hi,

I did a quick test using the latest development version and had no issues.
Can you test with the FileField Paths 6.x-1.x-dev and let me know how it goes for you?

Hi,

Thanks for the super quick response!

with the dev version it creates the path as expected for term "Testing Witness / examination audit":

sites/default/files/publications/Quality-Sytems/Quality-Management/Testing%20Witness%20/%20examination%20audit/Intro_BioInfo_sept09.pdf

and *will* load the URL. Yay!

but FileZilla still says:

Response: 550 Testing Witness: No such file or directory
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

when I try and browse to it.

Folder shows as 755

I'm happy to leave it as is because I've got the functionality I need(ish) and can advise the client to avoid slashes on further terms but if you want any more info am happy to look into it. I don't administer the server so there might be a delay on some info...

I would probably suggest using the pathauto cleanup functionality to remove the spaces from the path, that may help with the ftp issue and also make the path cleaner.

Let me know how you go.
